CASEMENT

The Wiseway casement window offers exceptional style and efficiency all in one. This option is a popular choice for vertically shaped openings because of their ease of operation. When opened, the Casement window helps direct wind into the home to maximize ventilation.

Superior hardware is used to operate the Casement window. The windows are equipped with multi-point locks that ensure an air-tight seal and foldable handles that promote ease of use. Casement can be fitted with double or triple-pane glass. The double pane unit is 7/8 wide, while the triple pane unit has been expanded to 1 3/8. The triple-pane Casement window option sets the window apart. The R factor on the triple pane window can reach as high as R8.22. AWNING

The Wiseway Awning window has many of the same qualities as the Casement although it serves a different purpose. The Awning window is hinged from the top of the frame so it opens from the bottom up.

This is the only window that can still receive ventilation in the rain or snow. Those who choose the Awning window are looking for a clear unobstructed view of the outdoors. The easy-to-use Awning window can add elegance and style to any house without compromise.

HUNG

All Wiseway Windows are fusion-welded both in the frame and sash. The welding is performed at 473° leaving a flawless, smooth finish and a complete monolithic unit. The Hung windows are fitted with cutting-edge drainage chambers that allow water to run through the external screen and back outside.

The Wiseway Hung windows all carry a stainless steel spiral balance support system. The spiral balance assists you as you slide the window up and down and it keeps the sash upright when required. The Hung windows can be folded inward for easy cleaning year-round.

Double Hung

  • 7/8 and 1 1/4 overall sealed units are glazed with heavy-duty glazing tape in sashes with coextruded dual durometer gaskets for optimum efficiency.
  • Recessed tilt latches for an elegant, clean sight line. Both sashes tilt in for easy cleaning and easy removal.
  • Lift Rails are integral to the sash, not to a glass stop for strength and ease of operation.
  • Forced Entry Locks are an available option. Windows 32″ and wider feature dual locks.
  • InstaLock tilt shoe mechanisms are quick to lock in place when you clean your window. The Premium coil balance system is smooth and quiet as you operate your window.
  • Triple-weather shipped sashes operate smoothly and have greater long-term resistance to air infiltration. The critical sill seal contains a Double Flow-Out design utilizing a Neoprene bulb on the underside of the sash.

SLIDERS

Wiseway Sliders are widely regarded as one of the best window styles in the industry. The Sliders feature a tilting and lift out sash to make cleaning the window a breeze. The triple weather stripping on the sash ensures maximum efficiency and comfort in all climates, particularly given the reliable neoprene bulb seal on the sash. The neoprene bulb seals have been integrated into the frame to provide a tight seal.

The contemporary design and the colonial finish give all our sliders the appearance of hand-crafted windows. The innovative glider system provides ease of operation and protects the weather stripping from wear and tear. The instant locking shoe provides stability to the sash as it tilts for cleaning purposes.

The sliders come in two styles, single, and double sliders. The double slider allows you to slide both sides along the track and tilt both for cleaning purposes.

BAY & BOW

Bay Windows

Our Wiseway bay window is typically composed of three windows. The two side units are normally casement windows, while the middle unit is a large fixed window.

Style variations are possible, however, such as sides that are made of double or single-hung windows, or fully fixed units. The side units of a bay window are normally projected at 45-degree angles, however, other projections are available as well.

Bow Windows

Our Wiseway bay window has a half-moon shape. It is composed of four or more equal size window units.

One unit on each end of the bow window is normally a casement while the others are fixed windows; however, bow windows entirely comprised of fixed windows are also available.
